Edna Pinson Kidd, age 89 of Springfield, passed away on December 18, 2016 with her family at her side in Nashville, TN.

She was born on April 19, 1927 to the late Estell "Buck" and Lucy Pinson in Robertson Co., TN. She is a graduate of Orlinda High School. She retired from Washington Manufacturing Company and worked for a while sewing the costumes at Opryland USA.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kidd is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Herman Kidd, and sisters, Josephine Pinson Jenkins and Betty Ruth Pinson Randolph.

She is survived by her children, Janice Kidd (Hubert) Moore, Jerry Wayne (Donna) Kidd, Barbara Dawn Kidd, and Dianne Kidd (Tommy) Shelby; sister, Frances Pinson Jones; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11am in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brother Eric Taylor Officiating.
