Earl Kemp

KEMP, Earl T. Age 87. August 10, 2010. Preceded in death by parents Kirk and Jettie Kemp; brother, Ernest B. Kemp; sisters, Beulah Lee Stark and Ellen Estelle Alley. He was employed by the Crescent Amusement Co. at the Knickerbocker and the Tennessee Theaters. Mr. Kemp retired from Metropolitan Government after many years of service at the Municipal Auditorium and General Services Motor Pool. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Survived by adoring family members to whom he dedicated his life and love and was loved dearly in return :wife of 60 years, Mattie S. Kemp; son, Stephan H. "Steve" JoAnn; grandchildren, Megan Blair Donegan Daniel, Darby Paige Kemp, Nathan Kyle Kemp; also survived by his brother, George A. Kemp; sister, Margie Frances Malone; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Shelton and Dr. Bill Sherman officiating. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
