Dorothy Faye Carver, age 66 of Gallatin passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Centennial Medical Center. A native of Sumner County, she was born to the late Bryson and Pauline Thompson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Carver. She is survived by her sisters; Susie Hammock Roger of Westmoreland, Thelma Stewart Tommy of Bethpage, Sara Sneed of Bethpage, mother-in-law, Margaret Carver of Gallatin, nephews; Darrell Reese Lynn of Bethpage, Dewayne Reese Wanda of Gallatin, nieces; Donna Box Josh of Gallatin, and Kimberly Sneed of Portland. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Bro. Guthrie Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens at Crestview. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. and will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until service time.
