Dora Johnson

Dora E. Johnson, age 86 of Gallatin, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was born in Sumner County to the late Alonzo and Hattie Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Dean Johnson, brother, Elmo Walker, and sister, Helen Fleming. She is survived by her daughter, Faye Adams of Gallatin, grandsons; Richard Dean Adams Tricia of Gallatin, Shaun Lee Adams Renee Munsford of Hendersonville, grandchildren; Mercedes Adams, Richard Dean Adams II, Jeffery Adams, Shaunna Adams, Cheyenne Adams, and niece, Pam Cothron Rodger of Gallatin. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 21 at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Martino, and Bro. Forrest Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow in the Gallatin Memory Gardens at Crestview. Mike Hanna, Richard Adams Sr., Richard Adams Jr., Shaun Adams, Rick Yeager, Mike Ryan will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 20 at 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and will resume on Wednesday at 12 Noon until service time. Online condolences may be submitted at www.gallatinfuneralhome.com.
