Donald Davis

Age 97, of Hendersonville passed away on Oct. 24, 2006. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Virginia Davis.
Mr. Davis was retired from Dupont, a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church and son of the late Ode and Pearl Short Davis. He is survived by his sons, Donald R. Elaine Davis of Murfreesboro, TN and Thomas J. Robin Davis of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Gay Pitts, Karen Davis, Donya Knight, Kimberly Harper, Robin Ann Davis, Holly Davis and Stewart Davis; great grandchildren, Wesley Ammons, Jordan Pitt, Jami, Michael and Jake Knight, Russell and Ryan Harper and sister, Minnie Louise Powell of Martinez, GA. Funeral services will be conducted 2pm, Thursday, Oct. 26, with visitation from 11am until 2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Whitaker officiating. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers and grandchildren honorary pallbearers. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
