Donald Riggs

RIGGS, Donald E. Age 76. November 28, 2008. Preceded in death by mother and father, Flora Schultz Riggs and Elmer Riggs of Holt, Michigan and daughter, Karen Riggs Baird. Mr. Riggs came to Nashville 32 years ago and retired from Bill Wilkerson Hearing and Speech Center. He was an avid angler at the Caney Fork River and was an adult leader for Boy Scouts of America in Michigan. Mr. Riggs was a fixer of anything. Survived by wife, Kathy McCarren Riggs; sons, Bennet Riggs and Kevin Riggs; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Also survived by sisters, Connie Riggs Gasperin, Barbara Riggs Kwilinski. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3501 Central Ave. Visitation with the family will be at their home following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity.
