Donald Mace

MACE, DONALD EUGENE age 75 of Hendersonville, passed away December 21, 2009. Preceded in death by his parents; Ernest Jefferson Mace and Margie Springfield Mace and brother; William Joseph Mace. Survived by his wife of 43 years; Sally Grimmer Mace and son Travis William Mace. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he recieved a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation he served as a 1st Lt. in the United States Air Force. In1995 he retired from Gulf States Steel. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed tennis and fishing. His family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until service time at 1 P.M. on Wednesday December 23, 2009 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Jerri Barber. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Books from Birth of Middle Tennessee or a favorite charity..
