RAMSEY, Dessie Ray age 87 passed away on October 27, 2009. Dessie was born February 4, 1922 in McCarley MS and resided in Nashville since 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nannie Lela Dove Rhee and Horace P. Ray and by her husbands Dr. Lucas B. Hawley and Fred J. Ramsey Sr., sons, Fred J. Ramsey Jr., Steve W. Ramsey. Dessie is survived by her sons, Stanley R. Ramsey, Michieal Cindy R. Ramsey; sister, Dorothy M. Bacon; grandchildren, Stephanie L. Tidwell, Michieal Connie D. Ramsey, Fred J.SuzanneRamsey, Tonya D. Jeremy Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Russell R. Divine, Emily A. Tidwell, Jakob D. Ramsey, Alec M. Ramsey, M. Gracie Ramsey, Paul A. Ramsey, Olivia R. Ramsey, Aalleah D. Cline, Victoria D. Cline, Thomas S. Cline. Dessie was a child of God and her Funeral Service will be on Friday at 10 am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Mark Thomas officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 pm at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 HWY 100, 615 646-9292.
