Clifton Hunter

Mrs. Clifton Deering "Sissy-Mamaw" Hunter, age 75 of Hendersonville, passed away October 4, 2010. Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Deering, Sr. and two brothers, William Rea Townes and Richard Greene Townes. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Clifton Townes; daughters, Patricia Deering Broadrick and Susan Deering Draper; son, Billy Kim Deering; sisters, Ann Hahn, Julia Larry Overstreet and Corinne Jerry Gowen; grandchildren, Roger Melissa Ryan, Amanda Justin Powell, Brandi Jackson Simpson, William Broadrick, Konstance Deering, Samantha Deering and Nolan Deering; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Noah, Macie and Ella Simpson; Summer and Autumn Ryan; Jeffrey and Bradley Powell; and Tate and Tanner Pebbles. Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2010 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Pastor James Crockett officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM and from 6 until 8 PM, Wednesday, October 6 at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 615 824-3855.
