Judge C.L. "Buck" Rogers, age 63 of Hendersonville, TN passed away suddenly February 27, 2014 at Hendersonville Hospital.
'Judge Buck' was a committed civil servant. He has been a prominent figure in Sumner County since he began practicing law in 1977. He loved his position as Sumner County Circuit Judge which he proudly held for over a decade. A humble man of few words and deep commitment.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 41 yrs, Lile Ellis Rogers and daughter Mary Kathryn Oliver (Nathan); sisters Gail Smith (Roy) and Barbara Rogers Andrews; 3 loved grand dogs. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sumner County Humane Society (http://www.sumnerhumane.org) and the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org).
A life celebration service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Active pallbearers will be Chuck Conner, Phil Cook, Eddie Davis, Jack Driver, Reverend Will Duncan, Tom Haygood, Nicky Meador, Butch Moore and Joe Thompson. Honorary pall bearers will be
