Cindy Lee Stevens, age 58 of Springfield passed away on June 29, 2020 at her home. She was born on November 12, 1961 to the late Steve and Georgia Lee Beckham Raines in Nashville, TN.
Cindy was described as a loving and outgoing woman. She loved adventure and enjoyed finding the beauty in life. Gigi loved her grandbabies and made sure everyone had a good time when they spent a week together at Gigi Camp. They would travel to Dollywood, Ruby Falls or this year at home playing laser tag, jumping on the trampoline and Zip Lining through the back yard. During the fall you would find her on the sidelines being the biggest cheerleader in the crowd no matter if they were in Tennessee, Arkansas or Texas she would be there supporting her grandchildren.
She was always on the hunt for a good deal spending time at Dollar General looking for the penny sale or yard selling with DJ. She was determined to find the best deal and turn it for a profit. When she wasn't finding the deal of the day, she spent time with her sisters traveling. Cindy was committed to walking seven to eleven miles a day to better her health. In 2019 she completed the 2,019 miles in one year and was currently working on 2,020 miles this year. At last count she had clocked 1,600 miles out of the combined 1,700 for her team. She was a fighter and was determined to get back to walking as soon as her knee healed.
Cindy will forever be remembered as the animal loving, deal shopping, family devoted Gigi that will be carried in the hearts of her family forever.
In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Barnard and brother, Rocky Raines.
