HALL, Chester Joseph "Chet" Age 51 years, passed from this life May 30, 2006. Chet was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a proudly retired Petty Officer 1st Class with the US Navy. Chet was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Hall graduated from TSU and got his degree in Occupational Therapy. He was dedicated to his patients as an Occupational Therapist Hand Specialist at the Nashville VA Hospital for many years. He loved life, and spread his cheer to all who were around him. He will be remembered as having a caring and grateful heart. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, family, and a multitude of his friends. Special thanks to the ER staff/ physicians and workers with the St. Thomas Hospital including the 7th floor Oncology Department. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jo Hall. Survived by his loving wife, Susan Hall, of Nashville; daughters, Megan Hall, of Nashville; Shelli Hall and Kaley Hall, both of Jacksonville, FL; Deanna Hall, of Panama City Beach, FL; Deborah Hall, of Taxewell, TN; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca Watts, of Nashville; Lillian Bob Parks, of White House, TN; mother-in-law, Corinne Davenport; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday June 1, 2006, at 10am from the Chapel of the West Harpeth Funeral Home with Rev. Donny McGuire and Rev. Eugene Butler officiating. Interment to follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with full military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to the American Brain Tumor Assn. 2720 River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018 or the Brain Tumor Society 124 Watertown St. Ste. 3-H Watertown, MA 02472. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and Thursday from 9am until service time
