Charles Mellon

MELLON, Charles John, age 88 of Hendersonville passed away January 14, 2009. Mr. Mellon was a veteran of World War II in the European Campaign and retired from General Electric after 39 years of service as an Operations Manager. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence Mellon, Matthew Mellon, and James Mellon. Mr. Mellon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sheldon Mellon; daughter, Janice Mellon; sons, Michael Sandra Mellon, and Kevin Sarah Mellon; grandchildren, Christina Brad Berron Payne, Michael Payne, Patrick Mellon, and Kyle Mellon; great-grandchild, Gunnar Payne; sisters, Mary Bove, and Patricia Mellon. Funeral mass will be conducted on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Eric Fowlkes celebrant. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
