Cathie Porter

PORTER, Cathie Lynne Bell - Age 57 of Nashville. November 24, 2010. A loving, devoted and giving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Mrs. Porter was welcomed home by her Lord and has been reunited with her late father, Valter Curtis "Kirk" Bell, and other loved ones who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronald Porter; children, Jeffrey Porter, Jared Meaghan Porter and Jana Michael Stephenson; mother, Lorene Bell; sister, Debbie Haffner; brothers, Ricky Bell and Michael Shannon Bell; grandson, William Stephenson; and numerous other family and friends. Her life will be celebrated Monday, November 29 at 11:30 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville with Bro. Billy Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors Saturday, 2-8 p.m.; Sunday, 1-8 p.m.; and Monday, 10 a.m. until time of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice.
