Carsie Mundy

MUNDY, Carsie Durham, age 65 of Gallatin, died at home on July 17, 2009. Mr. Mundy was Chief at Tennessee Regulatory Authority up until his death and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Submarine Service, having served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father Carsie Ethel Mundy. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pettigrew Mundy; daughter, Jennifer Hobbs Mike Marcotte; son, Scott Durham Mundy and fiance' Mai Sylva; son, Adam Pettigrew Mundy; grandsons, Carsie Douglas Mundy, Scott Damian Mundy, James William Hobbs Lois Marcotte; granddaughter, Julia Rose Marcotte; and great-granddaughter, Lily Sophia Marcotte. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, July 19th from 4-8 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 20th at 1:00 P.M. at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church with the Reverends Lynn Hinkle and Ben Alexander officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Active pallbearers are John Hutton, Tony Pace, Garry Green, Richard Collier, Michael Diaz, and Chuck Konesky. Honorary pallbearers are Employees of the Tennessee Regulatory Authority and members of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
