Carolyn Dunn Householder, age 76 of Nashville, TN, died April 21, 2013. She was an independent antiquarian bookseller and co-owner of Bodacious Books for the past 17 years. Prior to opening Bodacious Books, Carolyn was library director of Nashville State Community College for 16 years. Born in Searcy, AR, she was preceded in death by parents Owen Lois Dunn and Blyss Gentry Dunn, brothers Gentry Owen Dunn, Danny Lane Dunn, and sister Pamela Dunn Griffin. Survivors include daughter , Meribeth Stevens and her husband, William, Dallas TX; son J. Mark Householder, Nashville TN; grandchildren Christopher Stevens, Austin; Melissa Rose Smith, her husband Skyler, Dallas. Also siblings Michael D. Dunn, Searcy AR; Rita Sultan, Silver Spring MD ; Marianne Wofford, Kerrville TX. After graduating high school in Searcy AR, her undergraduate education included Arkansas State University and Memphis State. She obtained a masters degree in library science from Peabody College in Nashville. Carolyn loved living on the Cumberland River, both in the log cabin and her apartment. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and feeding the birds. Her friends and family will remember her kindness, sense of humor, and insightful mind. A memorial service will be held at Bodacious Books on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 5pm. 5133 Harding Road in Belle Meade.
