Bruce Edward Noren, Sr., born on December 1, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, and raised to be the life of the party, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Franklin, KY. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bruce was honorably discharged and went on to carve out a successful career at Kraft Foods, dedicating over 20 years to the company before retiring.

Bruce will be remembered as a jovial and charismatic individual who had an undeniable charm that drew people to him. Known for his playful spirit, he could brighten the dullest of rooms with a simple declaration of "Ayyy! Chick of Brooklyn Here!" His love for games and good company was evident in the joy he found while playing Penuckle, Michigan Rummy, and Bingo every Saturday with his daughter Theresa. Bruce had a remarkable ability to connect with others, making him not only an amazing father and grandfather but also a fun uncle cherished by many.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Missouri State University, showcasing his dedication to education and personal growth. His interests extended beyond academics, as he enjoyed reading books, especially the works of his favorite author, Tom Clancy. Bruce's hobbies included making wishing wells for family and friends, as well as camping and fishing, activities that provided him with much joy and precious time with loved ones.

Bruce’s family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his children, Dina Templin of Springfield, TN, Bruce E. (Jennifer) Noren, Jr. of Springfield, MO, and Theresa (Jason) Doran of Franklin, KY. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Cameron (Nicki) Noren, Tiffany (Nick) Szura, Alexis (Jake) Gass, Samantha (Austin) Disney, Evan (Angela) Schuerman, Mackenzie (Jacob) Mott, Skyler (Kylie) Noren, Marcella Doran, Cole Noren, and Drew (Aaliyah) Noren, as well as his great-grandchildren: Benny, Ellena, Hunter, Noah, Charlotte, Ray, Charliee, Jacoby, Kendrick, Natalie, and Mia; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Bruce was predeceased by his beloved wife, Zada Marcella Noren, whom he cherished deeply, as well as his siblings: Robert Noren, Kenneth Noren, Barbara Brown, Shelia Campisi, and Sandy Sandifur. His family recalls him as a caring individual who was proud of his accomplishments, particularly the love he held for Zada and the family they built together.The memory of Bruce Edward Noren, Sr. will live on in the hearts of those who knew him well. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and a commitment to making every moment with family a cherished memory.

Visitation services will be held on January 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on January 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM, leading to the burial services at 3:00 PM at the same location. Bruce’s family invites all who knew him to join in remembering a wonderful man who brought joy to all around him.
