Brodie Anderson

Brodie John Anderson of Bethpage, TN passed away Oct. 3, 2008 at the V.A. Hospital in Lake City, Fl. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and was retired from General Electric.
Born Jan. 25, 1925 in Sumner County to the late William Bill and Lady Key Anderson, he resided his entire life there until May, 2007 when his daughter answered God's call, "Will you, for a little while, take care of him for Me?", and moved him to her home in Panama City, FL.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Anderson Jeter of Panama City, FL, son, Mark Anderson of Seattle, WA, granddaughter, Gina Jeter Grantham of Blountstown, FL, grandson, Jason Jeter and wife Holly of Panama City, FL, two great granddaughters, Janna Grantham of Blountstown, FL and Lorin Hailee Jeter of Panama City, FL, one great grandson, Jared Grantham of Panama City, FL, sister Grace Townsend and husband Bob of Gallatin and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his oldest and most beloved friends remaining; his sisters-in-law, Mary Agnes Webb and Estelle Brown, both of Gallatin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby nee Brown, in 1973, brother Hershell Anderson, sisters, Hazel Wims, Elsie Ballard and Christine Jackson and grandson, Robert Shelby Jeter.
A Memorial Service, with Military Honors will be held Dec. 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Gallatin Funeral Home & Memory Garden at Crestview Chapel with Bro. Dee Russell officiating. John will at last, be reunited and laid to rest with his wife, Ruby; his nightly searches to find her ended. He is now and forever freed from the tangles of tissue which terrorized and imprisoned his mind.
