Boone High

Boone Burrus High, age 22, of Hendersonville, passed away this weekend. A 2006 graduate of Hendersonville High School, Boone was attending The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Most of all he loved being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dr. William C. and Emily Abernathy Burrus, and his uncle, Ted High. He is survived by his father, Dr. Greg Elinor High; mother, Beth Burrus High; sister, Leah High; grandparents, Dr. Joe Sarah High; uncles, Dr. Ben Sherry High; Stephen Karen High, Jeff Dawn High, Dr. Grady Kathy Burrus; aunts, Amy Serck Pat Flynn, Sue Gary Pinsly; cousins, Nathaniel High, Kathryn High, Rachel High, Megan High, Sarah Cody Goins, Kathleen High, Caroline High, Austin Katie High, Chris Amy Serck, Kathleen Matt Thurber, Matt Serck, Elliot Jess Pinsly, Melissa Pinsly, Jeremy Pinlsy, Sam Pinsly, Emily Burrus, Anna Burrus and Cam Burrus. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 P.M., Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday, August 12 at Hendersonville Funeral Home and from 1 PM until the time of service at the church.
