Betty Decker

Betty Thompson Decker, age 82 of Hendersonville, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Helen Swift. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Paul Dean Decker, Sr.; son, Paul Dean Jackie Decker, Jr. of Hendersonville; daughter, Donna Decker Stephen Keehan of Naples, FL; brothers, Carl Eugene Polly Thompson of Franklin, TN and Fred Katherine Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, TN; sister, Emily Donald Loewn of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Cynthia Jay Dale, Caroline Dale, Jimmy Megan Inglis, Ty Jennifer Decker, Tommy Decker and Joey Decker. Three great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted 10 AM, Monday, September 27, from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Gung officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3 – 8 P.M. on Sunday, September 26 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
