Betty Brooks

BROOKS Betty Jean, beloved wife of 63 years of Arthur L. Brooks, M.D., passed away in her sleep January 5, 2010 after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children, Judy Jerry Cooper, Amy Sandy Hofstetter, and Scott Cindy Brooks; grandchildren, Clint Cooper, Kellie Smith, Jennifer Gordon, Brooks Hofstetter, Wes Brooks, and Emily Brooks as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Jean was a graceful and loving wife with many friends. She was a God-loving person who loved to read her Bible, and will forever be remembered by her devoted husband. Funeral services will be on Thursday January 7, 2010 at 2 pm with Bill Sherman officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and on Thursday from 1-2 pm at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 HWY 100, 615 646-9292.
