Barbara Green

Barbara Green, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Born on August 6, 1939, Barbara's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her deep devotion to her church family at Lights Chapel.

Barbara was a loving woman whose caring nature extended not only to her immediate family but also to everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She nurtured her relationships with kindness and grace, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand. Her devotion to her church family underscored her commitment to serving others and made a significant impact in the lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert Elvis Green, and their son, Patrick Green. Together, they shared countless memories filled with love, laughter, and a mutual respect that resonated throughout their family life. Barbara’s legacy of affection, strength, and unwavering support will be remembered and cherished by those she leaves behind.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at 11am with Brother Michael Duff officiating at Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service at 11am at Springfield Funeral Home.

As the community mourns her passing, they also celebrate a life well-lived, one that was dedicated to caring for others and spreading love. Barbara Green will be deeply missed, but her spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
